.: About the Web Development Program

The Web Development Program in Central Carolina Community College is aimed towards providing basic and intermediate training to students who wish to work in the field of web design or just learn how to create websites for personal use. The program is offered by the CIT Department, and is part of the Web Development tract for Information Technology major.

Through a series of hands-on courses that can be taken concurrently or in sequence, students will learn the basic design principles, use development tools, create web graphics, and explore emerging web technologies. All courses require the students to complete and submit projects. These projects include designing and developing web pages and/or websites, as well as creating original graphics for their websites.
